Clean and Clear Operative

You will be responsible for undertaking mould treatment, painting and minor damp prevention in tenants properties and empty properties, you will also be responsible for clearing and cleaning empty properties (voids) including external spaces and outside of the property this will include checking and clearing loft spaces, removing all furniture, white goods, carpets and general waste.

39 hour week, working hours 8am-4 : 30pm Monday -Thursday & 8am-3 : 30pm on Friday

Start at 26 days annual leave, increasing up to 30 days plus bank holidays

Van, Fuel card, Uniform & Tools provided

Key must haves – full clean driving licence

What you’ll be doing
  • You willassistwith the removal of household goods and personal effects following a customer’s tenancycoming to an end.
  • You willmaintaina high standard off cleanlinesswithinthe homes youare responsible for; making sure it meets health & safety requirements and is left in a suitable state for trade operatives to work in.
  • Change locks & fit key safes’ making sure the home is secure.
  • Applying mould treatment.
  • Treating low level damp.
  • Removing defective decoration damage by mould.
  • Clear & tidy the gardens and external spaces, outsides of the homes e.g. strimming, cutting grass, hedge cutting, removing rubble, filling ponds & levelling soil
  • You will remove any items left within the home and make sure that they are disposed of correctly following health and safety guidance.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining appropriate documentation and records for any weigh in waste, in accordance with GreatPlaces Environmental Management Policies and Procedures.
  • Treating our homes with respect maintaining high standards of health and safety & reporting any concerns to your line manager.
  • You will look after the equipment provided to you keeping it in clean and fit working condition.

For the purposes of our van fleet insurance you must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience with a full UK driving licence, be over the age of 21 and complete an on-line driver monitoring Assessment prior to starting your role. If you are under 21 but with 2 years driving experience with a full UK driving licence you would be required to complete an on-line driver monitoring assessment and additional in-vehicle assessment prior to starting your role funded by Great Places.
