As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers with the delivery of lessons, assisting pupils with their learning, and helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Responsibilities as a Classroom Support Assistant:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils within the classroom.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Support children with additional needs, helping them to overcome barriers to learning.
• Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment.
• Prepare learning materials and assist with general classroom tasks.

Requirements for Classroom Support Assistant:

• Previous experience in a classroom or child support role is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning needs.
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
