Class Teacher

Location: Tameside

Contract: Full-time and part-time, temporary

Are you a reliable and ambitious Class Teacher looking for a new opportunity in EYFS, KS1 or KS2?

Premier Education is seeking candidates to join our pool of fantastic qualified teachers for welcoming and vibrant schools in Tameside. This is for a daily, short-term and long-term basis. Applications are welcomed from both ECTs and experienced teachers.

About the role:
  • Teaching a specific year group / phase depending on your experience and school requirements
  • Responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal development
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure pupil progress
  • Participation in staff meetings, CPD, and wider school life as required
Candidate requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
  • Recent experience teaching in EYFS / KS1 / KS2 settings is desirable
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
  • A reflective, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching
  • Must hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS certificate and demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
Pay:

£120 - £200 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
