Job description

Driver Hire Uxbridge are currently recruiting Multi-drop Class 2 Drivers for our clients flagship showroom based in Northolt UB5, one of the UK’s biggest supplier of internal and external prestige doors.

£41,000 per annum

Monday to Friday 7:00 to 16:30 (6:00 - 15:30 may be required)

12 weeks Temp to Perm Contract

You will need excellent communication skills and an attentive manner to manage the delivery processes ensuring everything is in line with our clients strict company standards and procedures. Being motivated, agile and hard-working are key to this role. The job will require a high level of physical fitness.

The Role:

• Multi-drop deliveries (up to 6-8 drops daily) internal and external doors, fire doors, framing and accessories.
• Hand-balling deliveries – no drivers mate.
• Assist in the loading of your vehicle, and ensure that all loads are full strapped and secure.
• Load your vehicle ready for the next day – Forklift licence is a bonus!
• Completing accurate paperwork and daily vehicle checks.
• Holiday Jan – Dec 20 + plus 8 days bank holidays.

Requirements:

• Valid UK driving licence with CAT C entitlement, licence must be CLEAN of points.
• Valid CPC and TACHO qualifications.
• A minimum of 1 year experience commercially as a Class 2 driver is preferred.
• Commercial Cat C driving experience in the UK (references required).
• Physically well presented at all times.
• High level of physical fitness as deliveries require lifting and shifting up to 50kg per door.
• Being motivated and hard-working are key to this role.
