A leading media company in Dartford is seeking an experienced Civils Operative to handle outdoor installations. The role offers a salary of £40,000 plus bonuses, extensive benefits including 25 days of holiday and professional development opportunities. Ideal candidates will have an HGV Class 2 license, outdoor experience, and the ability to work at height as part of a team.
If you’re someone who can learn on the job and turn your hand to various manual tasks, then this role could be what you are looking for.
Bauer Media Outdoor are a leading Out of Home media owner, operating more than 33,000 advertising sites nationwide. We are a friendly and culture led company who value and support our employees to be the best they can be. We also care about the communities we work with and the environment too!
A few years ago, we brought the construction of our advertising sites in house. Since then, the team have been extremely successful in delivering hundreds of site builds, including our newest digital units, billboards and large Storm installations.
We’re excited to be working on some interesting projects next year and now looking for a Civils Operative to join our growing team in Dartford.
You’ll be working as part of a two-person crew, spending most of your day breaking up ground and replacing / installing new digital units for our local communities on the many contracts that we deliver on.
This will involve travelling to sites (roadsides and public areas) within the London area. You’ll have a company HGV vehicle to help you do this, an attractive salary of £40,000, annual bonus, paid annual leave 25 days plus bank holidays, opportunities for training and development and fully expensed tools and PPE.
It’s a physically demanding role which requires you to work at height, mainly using a small step ladder, so you’ll need to be a team player and watch/help out your crew partner.
At Bauer Media Outdoor, we are committed to treating everyone with fairness and respect, regardless of their race, gender, age, ethnicity, background, sexual orientation, disability, or any other differences. We work hard to foster an inclusive environment, a place you can be yourself. We support reasonable adjustment requests from candidates and employees. If you're interested in joining us to shape the future of out-of-home media, we'd love to hear from you.
If you require this job advert in a different format or need any adjustments to support your application let us know.
