Job description

A local authority based in London is seeking a Civil Litigation/Property Litigation Lawyer for an initial period of three months.

The successful candidate will be required to pick up a mixed caseload from the outset. The council’s largest client is home ownership and so the council regularly deals with leasehold service charge recovery which may involve the FTT. You will also be required to deal with claims under the Equality Act and general debt recovery. Other teams within the council pass this department their cost orders to enforce. Previous experience in all the areas mentioned is essential. Local government experience is preferred.
