We are seeking multiple Civil Design Engineers to join a growing water engineering consultancy team working on long-term, high-impact infrastructure frameworks across the UK. If you have experience in clean water and/or wastewater network design—and a passion for delivering meaningful change in the water sector—this is your opportunity to help shape the future of water resilience and river health.

We are committed to sustainability, innovation, and delivering best value through low-carbon, cost-effective water solutions. Our projects span the full asset lifecycle—from optioneering and feasibility through to detailed design and construction support.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the creation of outline and detailed design documentation for wastewater and clean water infrastructure projects.
  • Producing high-quality calculations, technical reports, and construction-ready drawings.
  • Supporting feasibility studies and contributing to optioneering decisions.
  • Liaising directly with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to understand and deliver on technical requirements.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture.
  • Engaging with frameworks that ensure job security, long-term progression, and real-world impact.
Experience
  • Experience in water sector civil engineering design—especially in wastewater networks or clean water infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Water Industry standards, British Standards, and design codes.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to coordinate across stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Effective at managing deadlines, influencing others, and working in high-performing environments.
