The salary for this role is £12.40 per hour.

The festive season at Boots is one of our most exciting and important times of the year, and it simply couldn't happen without the energy, warmth and dedication of our store teams. As a Christmas Customer Assistant, you'll be at the heart of the action, greeting customers with a smile, offering product and gift advice, and creating a memorable experience that leads to a happily ever after and keeps them coming back all year round.

While this is a temporary contract, there may be the potential for a permanent role later depending on the opportunities in your local area, so it could be the start of a new career with us.

About the role

You will work in a Boots store and report to the Assistant or Store Manager. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Interaction: You'll offer thoughtful advice, recommend products and highlight offers to ensure everyone has an enjoyable shopping experience and no one leaves empty-handed.
  • Till Operation: Whether wrapping purchases at the counter or supporting self-checkout systems, you'll bring energy and efficiency to every transaction.
  • Stock Management: You'll keep shelves full so customers can find what they need during the busiest shopping season.
  • Store Presentation: You will help ensure every area looks its best.
  • Online order support: You may assist with deliveries, picking, and packing for online orders as needed.
What you'll need to have

Full training is provided, but these are the essential skills or experience needed to succeed:

We are now recruiting Christmas Customer Advisors for our Bootle, The New Strand store. We are looking for candidates to start with us from October 2025 onwards. We have a variety of shifts available from Thursday to Saturday. Please note that due to the anticipated volume of applications, we will close the advert when we have met our requirements.
