Job summary

Job description

We are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join a Referral and Assessment Team.

This role requires a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a permanent contract/s.

About the Team

This team provides quality services to vulnerable children, young people and their families and act as the first point of contact. This team has a child‑centred approach and is a key contributor when deciding appropriate action, to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. Carrying out S17, SAFs and pre birth assessments are some of the day to day responsibilities in this role.

About you

A degree in Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years' experience working with children is imperative in order to be considered for this role. The ability to work as part of a multi‑agency team, having a solid understanding of frontline safeguarding and being comfortable with making decisions under pressure, in a fast past environment lends to the success of this position.
