A leading healthcare provider in Colchester is seeking a Children's Oncology / Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist to cover maternity leave. This role involves providing specialist clinical care to children with cancer, managing a caseload, and working in a multidisciplinary team. An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide maternity leave cover for a band 6 Children's Oncology / Haematology CNS. This is a fixed term/secondment post until 22 June 2026, for 30 hours per week.
The CNS will join an established team dedicated to managing cancer and haematology conditions in children; we are a busy service with a caseload working across North East Essex.
You will provide specialist clinical advice and care to children and young people with cancer and haematology conditions. We are looking for a confident, innovative and experienced children\'s nurse who will be required to work within a multidisciplinary team providing support to acute and community services. You will need to be a good team player and be able to develop collaborative working relationships with other healthcare professionals, services and agencies.
