An exciting opportunity has arisen due to promotion for a Band 5 staff nurse to join our team in the Children's Outpatient Department

We are a well established Team that have currently extended our consulting rooms from 6 to 9 alongside our Audiology Suite and Treatment Room

We have 13 Acute Paediatricians as well as specialists and visiting consultants from Alderhey, Royal Manchester Children's Hospital UHNM and Oswestry covering a variety of specialist clinics, To provide exceptional Care to the Children and Familes

To complete all required Investigations in a timely, organised and professional manner

To maintain all competencies within the role

To effectively manage the day‑to‑day running of the clinic, supporting the staff and maintaining your professional registration, Be an accountable professional

Promote Health and preventing illness

Provide and Monitor Care involving MDT in unique scenarios

Work individually and as part of the MDT

Improve Safety and Quality of care

Use analytical and Judgemental skills

Ensure Health and Safety is maintained

Be proactive in seeking opportunities to develop own knowledge and freely share with others

Day‑to‑Day management of the treatment room and Immunisation Clinic

  • Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the entry point (bottom) of the pay band.
  • Appointments are subject to a 6-month probationary period. LED Doctors are subject to a 3-month probationary period.
