Overview

Children’s Home Registered Manager — Barnsley

Full-time, permanent | 39 hours/week
£46,000 to £56,981 per annum

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Manager to lead a 2-bed children’s home in Barnsley, supporting young people aged 8–17 with emotional and behavioural needs.

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high-quality care, safeguarding, and compliance with Ofsted and regulatory standards. You’ll also lead and develop a team, manage budgets, and maintain strong relationships with external partners.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day running of the children’s home and ensure high-quality care
  • Safeguard young people and ensure compliance with Ofsted and regulatory standards
  • Develop and manage the home’s team, including supervision and training as required
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners and agencies
What we’re looking for
  • Experience managing in children’s residential care
