A reputable care provider in Cockermouth is seeking a Children’s Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of a children’s residential home. The role requires strong leadership skills and experience in a related field, ensuring the service meets exceptional standards. An opportunity has arisen for a Children’s Home Manager/Registered Manager to join a well-established care provider known for delivering high-quality residential support for young people within a nurturing, well-structured environment. As a Children’s Home Manager/Registered Manager, you will be overseeing the daily running of a children’s residential home and ensuring the service operates to exceptional standards.
This is a full‑time role offering flexible working options, a salary range of £55,000 - £65,000 and benefits.
Previously worked as a Children’s Home Manager, Registered Care Manager, Registered Home Manager, Registered Manager, Home Manager, Care Manager, Homecare manager or in a similar role.
Experience of 1 year supervising care staff within a residential childcare environment. Have at least 2 years of recent experience (5 years) working in children’s homes. A recognised Level 3 qualification in residential childcare. Working towards or having achieved a Level 5 qualification in residential childcare. Ability to balance leadership duties with strong safeguarding practice.
