An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Child Centred Policing Analyst in Prevention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the collation and analysis of information, working under pressure and to tight deadlines, to prepare and present daily reports.
  • Use specialist analytical training to identify and predict ‘risk’ and ‘harm’ to the Force both tactically and strategically, including the identification of hotspots, repeat victims/offenders, crime patterns, intelligence gaps and children and young people at risk of entering the criminal justice system, and make effective recommendations to mitigate the threats identified.
  • Build expertise and professional knowledge relating to specialist area, including best practice and research nationally.
