Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in financial planning, risk management, and corporate governance in alignment with Lub-rref (Bangladesh) PLC's long-term business objectives. The position requires a high level of integrity, financial expertise, and leadership capability to oversee the company's overall financial management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth, BMRE, and refinery expansion projects.
  • Supervise financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure effective fund management including working capital, IPO funds, loan syndication, and banking relationships.
  • Maintain compliance with Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission (BSEC), Bangladesh Bank, VAT, Tax, and other statutory bodies.
  • Oversee internal control systems, corporate governance, and risk management frameworks.
  • Lead finance and accounts teams to ensure timely financial reporting, statutory audit, and external audit compliance.
  • Develop financial models and investment appraisals for new projects (e.g., Grassroot Refinery Plant, Waste Oil Refinery).
  • Liaise with banks, financial institutions, regulators, and stakeholders for fundraising, syndication, and capital market activities.
  • Advise the Board of Directors on financial performance, investment opportunities, and risk factors.
  • Oversee dividend distribution policy, AGM/EGM financial presentation, and shareholder communication.
