Overview

Chemistry Teacher — Full-time — Immediate Start — Maternity Cover — Chemistry to KS5 — Mixed Secondary School — MPS Inner London — ECTs welcome to apply.

The Role

In this role you will be teaching General Science and Chemistry KS3 KS5. You will join a supportive and dynamic Science Department which benefit from the school's Mathematics & Science Specialism with 15 modern and well-equipped laboratories. Computers in multiple laboratories and mobile wireless laptops with data-logging facilities places the Science Department at the cutting edge of science information technology.

At Key Stage 3, pupils are given a solid foundation in the Science National Curriculum which is developed further at GCSE when alternative courses are available, including Separate Sciences. Many students take Biology, Chemistry, Physics at A Level achieving above average grades. The school also offers a BTEC in applied science which you will be involved in teaching.
