About the Role

We're currently recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie to join a well-established kitchen team based in St Albans. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef looking to progress their career within a busy and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and cooking fresh, high‑quality dishes to a consistent standard
  • Supporting senior chefs during busy service periods and events
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with hygiene regulations
  • Assisting in stock control, prep lists, and ensuring section readiness
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie
  • Must be able to drive (location not easily accessible by public transport) – may be working late nights too
  • Weekend availability essential – shifts typically start between 7:50 AM – 9:00 AM and finish around 3:50 PM – may be later if there is an event/functions
  • 40‑hour week over 5 days
  • Flexibility for longer days during events or functions
  • Strong cooking skills and a genuine passion for quality food
