Job summary

A senior living provider in Farnham Royal is seeking a Chef de Partie to join their dedicated kitchen team. You will create and produce high-quality meals for residents, under the guidance of the Head Chef. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of catering experience and an NVQ Level 2 in food & hygiene. This part-time role offers from £14.00 per hour with various shifts, annual leave, and a supportive work environment. Opportunities for career development are also provided.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year's experience in catering.

Chef de Partie – Signature Senior Lifestyle

Develop your passion for food within a highly equipped kitchen, in-house bistro and fine dining restaurant, as part of our caring and supportive team at Signature Senior Lifestyle in Farnham Common. As Chef de Partie you work under the Head Chef to create and produce a nutritious menu of restaurant quality food for our residents. You oversee one area of the kitchen to prepare meals to the highest standard, ensure proper portion control and minimise waste. You develop an awareness of special dietary requirements, including the dementia dining experience, to meet these needs. You use your creativity and passion to help the Head Chef and Sous Chef to regularly review and develop the menu.

Qualifications and experience

As well as your energy and enthusiasm for food, a year's experience in catering, an NVQ Level 2 or QCF equivalent in food & hygiene or catering services, working knowledge of health & safety and awareness of waste disposal & infection control are a big advantage.
