Salary & contract

Pay: £15.69 per hour. Contract: Bank. Working pattern: Flexible working.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and preparation of fresh, seasonal food.
  • Help manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
  • Work within budget, complete regular audits and manage stock control.
  • Create a warm, efficient, and fun environment for residents and staff.
  • Lead and motivate a team, assisting in training and development.
Requirements
  • Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in leading and inspiring a team.
  • Good understanding of nutrition and HACCP.
  • Experience working with fresh, seasonal food.
  • Personable and warm approach with genuine interest in residents’ wellbeing.
