Chartered Structural Engineer

Boutique Structural Engineering Consultancy | Shoreditch

Hybrid working - only 2 days per week in the office

I'm working with a design-focused structural engineering consultancy based in Shoreditch, working closely with leading architects on high-end residential and architecturally led projects across London and the UK.

Due to continued growth, they're looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer to join a close-knit team and play a key role in both project delivery and the continued development of the practice.

The Role

• Lead and deliver high-end residential and bespoke architecturally led projects
• Work collaboratively with architects, clients and contractors from concept through to construction
• Take ownership of project design, coordination and delivery
• Contribute to business development, including nurturing client relationships and helping to bring new work into the practice
• Support and mentor junior engineers as the team grows

About You

• Chartered Structural Engineer (MIStructE and/or MICE)
• Strong experience working on architecturally driven design projects, ideally high-end residential
• Confident engaging with architects and clients at early design stages
• Some experience or genuine interest in business development and winning work
• Comfortable working in a small, design-led consultancy environment
