Senior Chartered Building Surveyor – Remote (South Wales)
Covering: Cardiff to Swansea (M4 corridor)

Looking for a role that gives you real autonomy, flexibility, and the freedom to focus on high-quality surveying?

We’re hiring for a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to join growing independent consultancy offering property advice and surveying services across the UK. This is a fully remote role (there is no office) and you’ll be covering a manageable patch between Cardiff and Swansea — most of the work is local, along the M4 corridor.

What you'll be doing

• Carrying out a broad mix of building surveys, reports, inspections, and consultancy.
• Around 60% commercial and 40% residential -but prior residential experience is not essential.
• Managing your own diary and workload -this is a senior, autonomous role.
• Liaising directly with clients and delivering high-quality advice backed by experience.
• Covering a small, defined region -no UK-wide travel, just the South Wales area.

What we’re looking for

• You’re a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS or FRICS) with solid experience under your belt.
• You’re confident working independently, with a self-starting approach.
• You’re based somewhere between Cardiff and Swansea (or nearby), with access to the M4.
• You know how to manage your time, keep clients happy and get the job done without micromanagement.
