Change Manager

Join our Product Management team as a Change Manager at White & Case. You will support, be given responsibility and be welcomed as an integral member of our global team from day one.

Trusted Technology at White & Case enables our lawyers worldwide by supporting them with advanced technology and systems for top-tier legal and client service. Our team includes Business Services, Operations, and Support Services, working together to maintain enterprise systems, manage communications and data centers, and provide desktop and training support.

We cover a wide range of technical and business skills, including business analysts, data architects, developers, and engineers specializing in virtualization, cloud, networking, storage, collaboration, and security. Our staff deploy and support the latest technology, hardware, and remote working tools, with 24/7 system monitoring from our Shared Services centre. We collaborate closely with other business services to support the Firm’s global operations.

We are looking for an experienced Change Practitioner to join our new Business Change Management Office in Technology. The Technology Change Manager will work with Product Managers and stakeholders on business and technology initiatives, focusing on preparing and supporting teams for new processes and technologies. The role involves developing and implementing change management strategies to maximise adoption, minimise resistance, and ensure project success and ROI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Helping teams realise the benefits of implementing new technology by enabling a seamless change experience, allowing people to be adopting new ways of working quickly and successfully
  • Designing, developing, and implementing robust change management strategies and plans for various technology initiatives based on our framework, integrating them seamlessly into overall project plans
  • Conducting thorough change impact analyses and assessing organisational change readiness
  • Developing and executing comprehensive stakeholder engagement plans, alongside delivering targeted communication strategies and plans
  • Overseeing the design and delivery of learning programmes
  • Supporting and engaging senior leaders and executive sponsors, providing coaching and guidance to key stakeholders on their roles in facilitating change
  • Monitoring and evaluating change adoption rates, tracking key metrics, and adjusting change plans as necessary to ensure sustained behavioural change
  • Collaborating effectively with Product teams to ensure alignment and integration of the change management approach with desired business objectives
  • Continuously evolving the Change Management Office framework, tools, and templates by incorporating lessons learned and industry best practices
Qualifications and skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organisational Development, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
  • 8–10 years of experience in change management roles, preferably within the legal industry or professional services industry
  • Certification in an industry-standard methodology (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) will be beneficial but not mandatory
  • Proven track record of successfully leading change for significant technology implementations, including digital transformation, ERP systems, cloud migrations, M365 adoption, and AI/GenAI adoption
  • Strong understanding and practical application of change management methodologies to lead through change planning and delivery
  • Experience in enabling cultural and behavioural change for long‑term adoption is desirable
  • Experience working effectively in cross‑functional, fast‑paced project environments and managing complex stakeholder landscapes
  • High degree of presentation skills and a demonstrated ability to influence and gain consensus from various personnel, ranging from department staff to business leaders
  • Innovative mindset and keen interest in latest thinking around technology enablers, change management, and business transformation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, with a tactful and diplomatic approach

Location and Reporting

This role is based in London, and reports into the Manager, Business Change Management.

Our standard office hours are 09:30-18:00, with a current requirement for 3 days in the office per week.
