Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities)
- Establish, maintain, and enforce robust change and release governance processes throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Lead planning for release cycles, including communication, stakeholder alignment, governance reporting, and approval management.
- Direct risk assessments, contingency planning, and escalation management for major and high-impact releases.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory, security, and IT service management standards across all change activities.
- Serve as the central point of contact for governance bodies, steering committees, and cross-functional delivery teams.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed
- Extensive experience managing change and release processes within large-scale, complex IT programmes.
- Proven ability to coordinate intricate release schedules with multiple teams, dependencies, and environments.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, risk management practices, and compliance-led delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with Oracle Intelligent Advisor (OIA) or comparable enterprise platforms.
- Experience working on major public-sector or digital transformation initiatives.
