Catering Technician (Temp – 4 to 6 weeks)

Location: Cheltenham area, Gloucestershire

Pay Rate: Competitive (plus 12.07% holiday pay)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Catering Technician to join one of our partner colleges in Gloucestershire for a short‑term assignment (4–6 weeks). This is a busy kitchen environment that provides catering services on campus, and you will support essential back‑of‑house operations to ensure smooth day‑to‑day running.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock control and inventory management
  • Receiving food deliveries and checking in supplies from suppliers
  • Preparing ingredients and assisting with kitchen meal prep
  • General kitchen maintenance and cleaning duties
  • Laundry duties for kitchen linens and uniforms
  • Assisting with basic food hygiene practices according to HACCP standards
Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday
  • Typical hours: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (flexible scheduling may be considered for the right candidate)
