We have a number of vacancies for Catering Assistant working for the school meals service based at various locations across the City of Sunderland as well as one position in Blyth and another in Newcastle. All posts are permanent contracted hours. A list of all posts and weekly hours is attached with this advert.

Responsibilities
  • Serving meals
  • Taking payments (in the case of secondary schools)
  • Washing up
  • Cleaning of the kitchen
  • Simple food preparation (but not cooking)
  • All general catering duties

Previous catering experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
