A healthcare organization is seeking a Catering Assistant in Scotland to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment. Responsibilities include assisting in meal preparation and maintaining cleanliness. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. An Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is desired, but full training will be provided. This role does not meet visa eligibility criteria. A 37hr Catering Assistant post working any hours between 8am & 6pm has arisen within our busy kitchen to work as part of a team to maintain a clean, safe working environment & to assist in the preparation and plating up of all patient meals.
You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills.
An Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but full training will be given.
Applicants must be well educated, of a smart appearance & have good customer communication skills.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
Please be advised this role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker Visa or a Health and Care Worker Visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
