Overview

Working 8 hours a week, Monday - Friday, Term Time only, this role could be ideal to fit in around your caring responsibilities. You will assist with serving our healthy award-winning meals, made from locally sourced, high quality ingredients, whilst ensuring levels of hygiene are maintained within the kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Basic food preparation
  • Preparing counters and the dining room for service
  • Operating the cashless till system
  • Cleaning duties
Qualifications and requirements
  • Level 2 Food Safety qualification or willingness to complete and pass it within your first 12 months of service
  • Experience delivering excellent customer service and working as part of a team
  • Good communication skills, enthusiasm and self-motivation
  • This post will require an enhanced DBS check with a barred list check for working with children
  • Fluency Duty: covered by the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers
Benefits and terms
  • Salary: £24,413 - £24,796 pro rata
  • 8 hours per week, term time 38.6 weeks, equivalent to £4,474.41 per annum
