Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic direction of assigned product categories within the technology sector.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement category strategies that drive sales growth and enhance market position.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks within the category.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to optimise costs and service levels.
  • analyse sales performance and inventory management, providing insights to support decision-making.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, demonstrating category performance and strategic recommendations.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the category management team.
  • Support the development of marketing initiatives to promote products effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the category lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Category Manager or similar role in the technology industry.
