Job summary

Job Overview

This is a Category Manager vacancy based at Companies House in Cardiff. NWSSP Procurement Services seeks a professional who can manage the procurement workplan for the National Sourcing Commissioning team, ensuring effective delivery of the category strategy in line with organisational and policy goals.

The role will involve working with other team members and stakeholders at all levels to support the procurement cycle. Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Managing multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to deliver category strategy.
  • Ensuring compliance with contract legislation, probity, and risk management.
  • Driving savings and delivering value to the NHS.
  • Providing people and staff supervision where required.

Work will be conducted predominantly at Companies House, Cardiff, with an element of home/agile working. Welsh language speakers are welcome; competence in Welsh is desirable but not required.
