Great opportunity! Cat B Van Driver. Midhurst, West Sussex

Driver Hire is recruiting for a Van Driver to join them for a temporary but ongoing assignment (There is the potential for this to become a permanent role in the future) for one of the leading suppliers of timber products across London and the South East of England. You would be based in Midhurst. The work is heavy but generally there will be a team on site to help unload the heavier product.

The ideal candidate will have previous van delivery with experience in strapping and load security vital. The product is very expensive and attention to detail is important

It is a varied role, as part of a friendly and professional team.

**** HOURS, SALARY AND BENEFITS ****

• £12.25 per hour


• Monday to Friday


• 7.30am to 4.30pm (1 hour compulsory lunch break)

**** RESPONSIBILITIES of the Cat B Driver ****

• UK driving Licence with Cat B Entitlement


• Have multi-drop experience


• Carry out daily vehicle walk round checks


• Be Health and Safety Focused in all aspects of the role


• Have a good working / driving knowledge of the area.


• Possess the flexibility to go the extra mile and have a full commitment to providing excellent customer service


• Use initiative and have an organised approach to your role and workload.


• Physically fit as lifting / handballing will be required
