A local housing organization in Lancashire seeks a Casual Young Persons Resettlement Worker to support young individuals aged 16 to 18 in two supported accommodation sites. The role involves empowering young residents to learn life skills, ensuring the safety of the facilities, and addressing safeguarding concerns. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 GCSEs including Maths and English, excellent communication skills, and prior experience working with diverse young populations. This position offers a competitive pay rate of £15.08 per hour and additional benefits.
For applications, we are looking for a passionate, dedicated individual to join our award‑winning Young Persons Resettlement Team. You will support young people aged 16 to 18 across two 24/7 supported accommodation sites in Blackpool.

“Supporting young people in supported accommodation”
Rate of Pay: £15.08 per hour Monday to Friday. Weekend hours £22.62 per hour (SCP 5b @1.5). Additional sleep‑in payment £41.78 on an‑hoc basis.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with a confident manner, remain calm under pressure and have demonstrable experience working with young people with a range of support needs. Knowledge of young people’s rights and professional boundaries is essential.
