An educational organization in Guildford is looking for an Online Student Support Assistant to provide essential assistance to students and faculty staff. The role focuses on enabling students with special educational needs (SEN) to achieve their educational goals through online support. Working hybrid, the assistant may need to help during evenings and weekends, providing a flexible working environment while making a meaningful impact on learners' lives.
As an online Student Support Assistant, you will provide online assistance our teachers and faculty staff to support students who requires additional learning support and to ensure learners with SEND/learning support needs have access to the learning materials and resources to enable them to achieve their ultimate goals throughout their learning journey.
Our Student Support Assistants make a difference in the lives of our students with SEN by enabling them to reach their full educational potential. Our tailored pathway programmes, including GCSEs, functional skills, access and distance learning, ensure that all students can overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. Student Support Assistants act as role models, adopting our learning philosophy, values and learning techniques to enable our students to progress throughout their course.
This is a causal contract, working hybrid/remote with an expectation you will work on site one day per week. The role may require you to work weekends and evenings depending on the learner needs, so flexibility around working hours is essential.
