Overview

Chelmsford City Council runs a successful holiday camp at a number of facilities across the City during the school holidays. The camps, available for 4‑7 year olds and 8‑12 year olds, are an ideal opportunity for children to try a range of new and exciting activities.

Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to act as Camp Leaders who can lead the delivery of our camps during the school holidays. This post is offered on a casual basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the camps during the school holidays.
• Adapt delivery to suit various skills and abilities, creating an environment that motivates and encourages children.
• Work predominantly during school holidays, with additional coaching sessions potentially available during school term times and weekends.

Qualifications

• Confident communicator with excellent customer‑care skills.
• Holder of a sports leadership or coaching qualification.
