A secure children’s home in Salford seeks a Case Supervisor to manage and support vulnerable children aged 10-17. Responsibilities include collating information, chairing reviews, and liaising with Youth Offending Teams. Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting. This position requires a DBS check and the candidate must not require sponsorship.
Barton Moss Secure Care Centre is a twenty four bedroomed Secure Children’s Home. This is located in Eccles on the outskirts of Salford in Greater Manchester, within easy reach of The M60 and wider motorway network.
We care for boys aged 10-17 who have been sentenced or remanded through the youth justice system. We are first and foremost a Children’s home.
The Centre offers a very high standard of care with facilities that encourage children’s educational development, emotional health and personal well being.
The case supervisor is the case manager for all children within the centre. This involves collating and coordinating information, chairing statutory reviews, liaising with Youth Offending Teams and supporting the children through the court process. Case supervisors strive for the effective resettlement of the children back into the community and therefore you will have a good understanding of Care Planning and good outcomes for children.
You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience of working with vulnerable Children in a residential or community based setting.

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check currently £49.50. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £12.38 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £49.50.
