Academics are seeking a reliable, hardworking School Caretaker to support our partner schools starting January 2026 or as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Opening and securing the school premises
• Carrying out basic repairs and maintenance
• Managing cleaning teams or undertaking cleaning duties when needed
• Ensuring health & safety standards are met
• Supporting with school events, deliveries, and site security
• Maintaining outdoor spaces and general upkeep of facilities

Requirements

• Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
• Previous caretaking, maintenance, or facilities experience preferred
• Good practical skills and the ability to work independently
• A positive, proactive attitude and strong sense of responsibility
