A family-run residential and nursing care group in Brighton is seeking a Head Chef to join their kitchen team. Qualifications

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Home Manager the successful applicant will be an organised and helpful leader in a busy kitchen environment. You will be responsible for organising, preparing, and serving appetising and freshly produced food, whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and health and safety.

Qualifications and experience
  • Experience in the food industry; ability to be part of a strong kitchen team.
  • Experience in a care setting would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Basic or Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate
  • Knowledge of textured/modified diets would be an advantage
