Overview

This is a nights role for a Care Home Assistant Practitioner (CHAPS) at Akari Care, an award-winning care home provider. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of high-quality, personalized care to the elderly residents, working collaboratively with the nursing team to support their day-to-day needs.

Responsibilities
  • Play a fundamental and integral role in the care team, supporting the physical, mental and emotional needs of residents.
  • Work alongside the nurses to provide nursing assistance, allowing nurses to focus on more complex care requirements.
  • Contribute to delivering the highest quality of personalised medical and clinical care in collaboration with colleagues, residents’ families and external professionals.
  • Demonstrate a caring nature, lead by example, communicate effectively, and remain flexible and adaptable to changes.
