Overview

Join Cera as a Care Assistant in Clacton and surrounding areas. You'll be supporting our mission to transform social care and help more people live longer, healthier, and happier lives in their own homes. In this role, you'll support individuals who have recently left hospital following surgery or illness and need extra help while they recover. This vital service enables people to leave hospital sooner and helps reduce pressure on the NHS. You'll be travelling across the region — including Clacton, Tendering, Harwich, Manningtree, Frinton, Walton-on-the-Naze, and nearby areas — to provide post-hospital care to those recovering from illness or injury.

Responsibilities
  • Personal care (continence support, washing, dressing)
  • Managing medication
  • Preparing meals
  • Helping with domestic tasks
  • Providing companionship and reassurance to service users
Role details
  • Block shift pay, with Guaranteed Hours available for those with flexible availability
  • Part-time and full-time roles available (some weekend work required)
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle required
  • No previous care experience needed — full training provided
