Job description

A unique care role: join our visiting care team in Richmond, London

We are seeking a Part-Time Care Assistant in Richmond for a fulfilling daily commitment. This role requires 4 hours per day Tuesday to Friday and is ideal for someone, like a student, or professional with other part-time work, who needs a reliable schedule that fits around other commitments.

We need someone lively and engaged to provide daily break cover for our client's live-in team. This is a live-out role focused on enriching the client's day, not traditional homecare.

The shift is 4 hours, seven days a week - this could be split between two people. While we have standard times (typically midday/early afternoon or late afternoon/early evening), we are open to discussing adjustments to the start and end times to accommodate your existing commitments.

The role:

Our client is an engaging individual with a strong sense of humour who thrives on creative activity. Your role is to plan and execute meaningful, focused sessions that keep them engaged and active.

  • Baking treats in the home kitchen
  • Leading arts and crafts projects
  • Dedicated music time and creative pursuits
  • Providing attentive, stimulating companionship during the break period
Essential Requirements:

This role is supportive, but requires a specific skill set. To be considered, you must have professional experience supporting individuals with:

  • Learning Disabilities
  • Epilepsy: You must be prepared to monitor for, and calmly respond to, any needs or incidents that arise

We are looking for someone reliable, creative, punctual, and empathetic who can build a genuine, long-term rapport.

Why Join Our Team?

You are joining an established, highly professional care organisation. Even in a short part-time role, we prioritise our staff's well-being and stability:

  • Excellent Hourly Rates: Earn £14.50 (weekday) to £16.50 (weekend) per hour, plus paid holiday allowance and double pay on Bank Holidays
  • Dedicated Support: You will have a dedicated Care Manager and access to a robust Employee Assistance Programme for well-being
  • A Culture of quality: Join a team consistently rated highly for its supportive management and commitment to care expertise

If this unique opportunity to provide enriching, part-time support in Richmond appeals to you, we encourage you to apply.

This is a great part-time role for carers located in any of the following locations: Kingston, Richmond, Hounslow, Isleworth, Twickenham, Putney, Barnes, Wimbledon or surrounding areas.
