Job Title – CARE ASSISTANT

Hourly Rate: £13.13- £13.52 + benefits

Contract: Permanent/ Full-time – 39.5 hours a week

Home: Halliwell Home is situated on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells, providing residential and nursing care to a high standard in a homely environment.

About the Role

We have a dedicated and well-trained team providing an excellent standard of person-centred care for our residents. As a Job Title joining our large, diverse team who are proud of the difference we make to our residents you will:

  • Deliver and maintain a high standard of personal care to residents in accordance with their needs and desired outcomes.
  • Help in the promotion of mental and physical activity of residents through talking, taking them out, and engaging in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies and other social activities and recreations.
  • Welcome and assist residents and visitors, referring them to the person in charge where necessary.
  • Ensure residents’ physical environment meets their needs.
  • Meet the personal care needs of residents in a way that respects their dignity and promotes independence.

Qualifications / Experience: Prior experience is desirable but not required, as training will be provided.
