Superior Healthcare is urgently recruiting Support Workers, Carers and Health Care Assistants in Hove to support our young client living in their family home.

As a Care Assistant, you’ll work long-term with one or a few clients, supporting one person per shift. You’ll assist clients with ventilator management, PEG feeding, moving and handling, personal care, and daily living tasks.

Shift Pattern:

Choose to work full-time or part-time hours. Enjoy a fixed rota, with the option of overtime, and select from:

  • Type: Wake Nights
  • Hours: Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Time: 22:00 – 08:00
  • Additional shifts are available locally in East Sussex to fill full-time hours.

Responsibilities
  • Confident and clear communication with the client.
  • Assist the client with moving and handling.
  • Ability to provide ventilator care, and perform oral and nasal suctioning.
  • Carefully understanding and following the client's care plan, as advised by the Nurse Manager.
  • Prioritising the client's wellbeing, including raising any safeguarding concerns.
Requirements
  • At least 6 months experience in a UK care environment.
  • Complex Care experience.
  • UK driving license is not essential, but preferred.
  • Choice of day, night and weekend shifts
  • Blue light card - we’ll pay for it.
