Job summary

A leading elderly care provider is looking for a dedicated Care Assistant to deliver high-quality personal care and ensure residents' dignity and independence. This full-time position offers a salary of £13.10 an hour, with shifts from 07:00 to 19:30 or 19:30 to 07:00. Experience is not required as a thorough induction and training program is provided.

Overview

They are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Care Assistant to deliver high standards of personal care and contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Job responsibilities
  • Deliver high standards of personal care and assist residents with their personal hygiene while maintaining independence, dignity, and respect.
  • Recognise and understand clinical risk areas in residents (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection) and escalate identified risks in a timely manner.
  • Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
  • Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks and participate in the induction and training programme provided by Avery.
