At Richmond Manor, our Care Assistants are called Homemakers. More than support workers, care assistants or healthcare assistants - they are carers and companions all in one. They have the time to get to know our residents and are trusted to give each person the care they need, in the way they like.

Joining us at Richmond Manor, our luxury care home that provides residential, dementia, and nursing care for older people, you'll be part of a team that is genuinely passionate about the health and well-being of our residents.

Working Pattern: 12 hour shifts and working alternate weekends on a rota basis.

Responsibilities

• Become a Homemaker, providing care and companionship in a way that is tailored to each individual resident.
• Care for residents in the manner that feels most appropriate to them, including activities such as arranging family meals, helping with daily tasks, administering medications where applicable, and other personalised support as described in the role.
• Spend meaningful time with residents, focusing on the tiny details that make each person unique and tailoring care accordingly.
• Support residents with everyday activities and ensure their comfort and well-being within a home-like environment.
• Engage with residents to promote their health, safety, and happiness within the care setting.
