Job summary

A leading insurance company in the UK is seeking a Capacity Planner for a 12-month fixed-term contract. Capacity Planner

12-month Fixed-term Contract

Location: Norwich, Glasgow or Perth based (50% hybrid working)

Salary: circa £36,000

This role is perfect for someone who loves problem-solving, thrives on collaboration, and wants to make a real difference in how we serve our customers. If you have experience in resource planning or workforce management and enjoy working with data to shape decisions, this could be your next step.

Please note that we can offer this role as a 12-month FTC.

A bit about the job:

You’ll play a key role in making sure our Motor Claims team has the right people in the right place at the right time. By understanding customer demand and predicting future needs, you’ll help us deliver excellent service every day. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Claims and Operations to create and maintain capacity plans that support both short-term service and long-term growth. Your insights will help us manage budgets, plan recruitment, and keep things running efficiently.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
  • Extensive experience in capacity planning and designing robust data models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distil complex datasets into clear insights.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance systems and the impact of claims activity on resource allocation and cost efficiency.
  • Skilled in systemic thinking and interpreting cause-and-effect relationships within performance measurement frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, complemented by proven success in managing diverse stakeholders effectively.
What you’ll get for this role:
  • Salary circa £36,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
  • Bonus opportunity - 8% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
