We are currentlybased at Flemming Court, Castleford until December 2025. The team willtemporarily be based at Drury Lane Health and Well-Being Centre in the centreof Wakefield until September 2026 and then permanently moved to FieldheadHospital from September 2026.
Single Point of Access (SPA)Youll be the first point of contact for children, young people, families andprofessionals. Youll take triage calls, make informed clinical decisions, andoffer supportive advice and signposting, helping to support people to navigatewhat can feel like a daunting system.
2+1 Intervention Youlldeliver brief, targeted support through our 2+1 approach. One initialassessment and two focused intervention sessions.
The role wouldrequire you to support children, young people and families to get the rightsupport, and make onward referrals either internally within Wakefield CAMHS orto external agencies.

JOB PURPOSE: The post holder will be responsible and accountable for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of skilled interventions to address identified needs and risk for allocated clients on a defined caseload. Works within a multi-disciplinary team as a member of Specialist CAMHS.
