Una firma líder en servicios financieros busca un Calypso Functional SME en Londres para unirse a su equipo de tecnología de mercados de capitales. En este rol, actuarás como experto en Calypso, trabajando con instrumentos FI, FX y MM. Deberás poseer más de 8 años de experiencia en mercados de capitales y al menos 4 años con Calypso (v15 o superior). Serás responsable de capturar requisitos, configurar módulos y garantizar el cumplimiento normativo. La posición es a tiempo completo y en modalidad híbrida.

Qualifications

• 8+ años de experiencia en Mercados de Capitales; 4+ años con Calypso (v15 o superior).
• Sólido entendimiento funcional de productos FI, FX y MM y su ciclo de vida.
• Excelente documentación para especificaciones funcionales y casos de prueba.

Responsibilities

• Actuar como experto en Calypso para instrumentos FI, FX y MM.
• Capturar requisitos comerciales y traducirlos a especificaciones funcionales.
• Configurar y mejorar módulos de Calypso.

Are you an expert in capital markets technology with deep hands‑on experience in Calypso (v15 or higher)? A leading financial services team is looking for a Calypso Functional SME to play a pivotal role in supporting front‑to‑back office operations and delivering key system implementations.

🔍 Role Overview

In this senior‑level role, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert for Calypso across Fixed Income (FI), Foreign Exchange (FX), and Money Market (MM) products. You will gather and analyze business requirements, configure system functionalities, and ensure seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems. Your contributions will be critical in delivering compliant, scalable, and high‑performing trading solutions.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Act as Calypso SME for FI, FX, and MM instruments
• Capture business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
• Configure and enhance Calypso modules (trade capture, lifecycle, settlement)
• Support system implementations, upgrades, and business‑as‑usual enhancements
• Collaborate with QA teams on test case design and functional testing
• Coordinate with development teams on customizations and integration points
• Interface with third‑party systems such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Murex, and Markit
• Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., MiFID II, EMIR) across configurations
• Train end users and mentor junior team members

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Capital Markets; 4+ years with Calypso (v15 or higher)
• Strong functional understanding of FI, FX, MM products and trade lifecycle
• Proficient in Calypso modules: Trade Workflow, Settlements, Confirmations, Risk, Collateral
• Experience with BO configurations, Task Station, Event Templates, and Accounting Rules
• Familiarity with STP flows and trade lifecycle from front to back office
• Solid understanding of financial messaging formats (SWIFT, FpML)
• Excellent documentation skills for functional specs and test cases
• Exposure to Agile methodologies

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Calypso APIs and system integrations
• Previous involvement in Calypso upgrades or Cloud migrations
• Knowledge of SQL or Python for data analysis and issue troubleshooting
• Strong stakeholder communication and cross‑functional coordination
• Certifications in Calypso, ITIL, or capital markets (e.g., CFA Level 1, NISM) are a plus
