A leading procurement firm in Scotland is seeking a Buyer to manage procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have strong sourcing skills and a proven record in procurement. Responsibilities include developing client relationships, negotiating purchase terms, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. A Business Degree or CIPS qualification is desirable, along with familiarity with D365 and Microsoft Office. Competitive compensation and opportunities for professional growth available.
Job function/Scope:
The successful candidate will be responsible for aspects of procurement related activities against clients requirements and contracts, including liaising with clients both onshore and offshore to ensure their needs are met and that supply of goods and services are to their satisfaction. A proven record in procurement is essential with particular emphasis on sourcing of one off purchases to add value for all parties. Good customer skills and motivation to make a difference with a team.
