We have an excellent opportunity for a Buyer to join a highly regarded regional main contractor based in Oxford. The business is family owned and has been established for over 100 years, undertaking projects across the education, commercial, student accommodation and healthcare sectors valuing up to £30mil.

They're now looking to expand the Oxford based team with an additional Construction Buyer.

About the role of Construction Buyer :

As a Buyer, you will be responsible for managing costs of material across all sites in the region. You will be reporting into the Commercial Manager.

Key Responsibilities as Buyer :

• Ensure materials are delivered to sites in line with site programmes and specification, and are purchased at competitive prices.
• Produce & maintain accurate site specific material schedules and process material orders.
• Work with estimating teams to obtain prices in preparation for bids
• Support site teams with material take-offs
• Produce reports to present to regional leadership teams

Key Requirements for this Buyer role :
