A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Buyer in Leeds to join their client’s growing Supply Chain Team. The role involves sourcing, negotiating supplier pricing and maintaining stock availability. Ideal candidates will have experience in similar positions within fast-paced environments and possess excellent Excel skills. The position offers a salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000 along with various employee benefits, including flexible working arrangements and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Purchase and source products to ensure consistent stock availability.
  • Negotiate supplier pricing, terms, and agreements to achieve favourable outcomes.
  • Track supplier performance and manage any issues that arise.
  • Review inventory levels and generate purchase orders as required.
  • Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities within the supply chain.
  • Provide the sales team with accurate pricing and supply updates.
  • Keep ERP system records up to date and accurate.
  • Support ongoing improvement initiatives across supply chain operations.

Buyer - Leeds - £35,000 - £45,000

Chase & Holland are delighted to support one of our clients in the West Yorkshire area in the recruitment of a Buyer to join their multi award-winning organisation. The Buyer is a member of the Supply Chain Team and will be joining during a period of significant growth. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and the best pricing and supply partnerships.
