Job Opportunity: Business Teacher with Computing (KS3-KS4)
Location: Lambeth
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term cover (until July 2026)
Working Pattern: 3 days per week - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

We are pleased to be supporting a well-regarded secondary school in recruiting a dedicated Business Teacher with Computing for a long-term position running until the end of the academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher looking to make a meaningful impact across both subject areas.

About the Role

The successful candidate will teach Business and Computing across KS3 and KS4, with an equal split between both subjects.

Key Subject Breakdown
  • Business (50%)
    • Teaching GCSE Business to Year 10 and Year 11
    • Delivering engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons and preparing students for GCSE assessments
  • Computing (50%)
    • Teaching KS3 and KS4 Computing
    • Covering core topics such as programming, digital literacy, systems architecture, and computational thinking
Working Days
  • Wednesday to Friday (fixed days)
Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and assess high‑quality lessons in both Business and Computing
  • Support students in developing strong subject knowledge and achieving target grades
  • Contribute to departmental planning and collaborative curriculum development
  • Maintain a positive, well‑managed classroom environment
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
